Mississauga Chargers forward Paul Ramieri (photo credit - Shawn Muir/OJHL Images) has confirmed his commitment to join the Saint Anselm College Hawks beginning with the 2013-14 Northeast-10 Conference season.

The 6'4", 200 lbs. native of Smithfield, Rhode Island, has played the last three seasons in the OJHL, kicking off his Junior 'A' career with the Orangeville Flyers as a 17-year old in 2010-11.  After playing four games for the Flyers, the rookie was traded to the Pickering Panthers, where he would finish his first season with 13 points in 44 games played.  Kicking off 2011-12 with the Burlington Cougars, Ramieri would be moved again, this time after six games played and to the Peterborough Stars.  Ramieri would lead the team in scoring with 13 goals and finish second with 18 points in 45 regular season games played.  With the Stars merging with the Lindsay Muskies this past off-season, many players required new homes and Ramieri would be picked up by the Mississauga Chagers where he has been instrumental in their turn-around season, pushing hard for the playoffs into the final weeks, before bowing out of the run recently.

Congratulations to Paul and best of luck at the next level!
