VILARDI MAKES OHL DEBUT WITH WOLVES
Kingston Voyageurs rookie forward Francesco Vilardi (photo credit - Michael DiCarlo/OJHL Images) made his Ontario Hockey League debut today when he suited up for the Sudbury Wolves game at the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium.
The native of Kingston, Ontario joined the Wolves today and did not register a point as the Wolves fell 3-2 to the hometown Rangers. After recording four points in three games played as an affiliate from the Greater Kingston Jr. Frontenacs Minor Midget 'AAA' club, Vilardi has made an impact during his first full junior season with the Vees, recording 22 points in 51 games played. Last summer he would be selected by the Wolves in the 3rd round, 56th overall of the 2012 OHL Priority Selection and would join the club in Russia this summer, playing three games as part of the Junior World Cup, helping Sudbury win the inaugural title.
Congratulations to Francesco and best of luck in his first OJHL playoff run!
