DOYLE COMMITS TO MORRISVILLE
Aurora Tigers forward John Doyle (pictured 2012-13 with Orangeville Flyers, photo credit: Brian Watts/OJHL Images) has confirmed his commitment to join the Morrisville State College Mustangs beginning with the 2013-14 SUNYAC season.
The 6'1", 200 lbs. native of New Lowell, Ontario played the past two seasons in the OJHL, kicking off his Junior 'A' career with the Orangeville Flyers in 2011-12 as a 19-year old, after spending a season playing Junior 'B' with the Stratford Cullitons. Doyle would finish third last year on the Flyers in scoring with 17 goals and 31 points in 44 games played and after a great start to this season, that saw him notch 18 points in 20 games, he was traded to the Aurora Tigers, helping the club capture the North Division regular season crown for the first time in six years.
Congratulations to John and best of luck in his NCAA career!
