LAPIERRE COMMITS TO BUFFALO STATE
North York Rangers defenceman Charles Lapierre (photo credit - Amy Deroche/OJHL Images) has confirmed his commitment to join the Buffalo State College Bengals beginning with the 2013-14 SUNYAC season.
The native of Amos, Quebec joined the Rangers this season after playing the previous two years at Upper Canada College in Toronto. The rearguard posted two goals and six points during the regular season while remaining a defensive presence for his club. During North York's impressive playoff run, that saw them upset the number one ranked Buffalo Jr. Sabres, Lapierre notched three points in just 16 post-season games.
