VanKLEEF COMMITS TO CURRY
Burlington Cougars forward Tyler VanKleef (photo credit - Shawn Muir/OJHL Images) has confirmed his commitment to join the Curry College Colonels beginning with the 2013-14 ECAC Northeast Conference season.
The native of Hamilton, Ontario joined the Cougars this season after spending the previous three years with the Stoney Creek Warriors Junior 'B' club of the GOJHL. The 20-year old first-year OJHLer made an instant impact on his new club, finishing second with 21 goals, while also finishing fourth in overall scoring with 40 points in 52 games played. VanKleef would fail to record a point during Burlington's opening round, four game sweep, at the hands of the South-West Conference regular season champion Buffalo Jr. Sabres.
