Kingston Voyageurs forward Brian Nanne (photo credit - Mike Ivall/OJHL Images) has confirmed his commitment to join the Laurentian University Voyageurs beginning with the 2013-14 OUA season.

The Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario native joined the Vees in 2011-12 after spending one season with the NOJHL's Soo Thunderbirds, immediately become an important piece in the club's magical playoff run that year.  Nanne finished fourth on Kingston in scoring during the regular season with 40 points in 49 games played and then led the club with six goals during the post-season.  Although taking a step back in the offensive statistical categories this season, Nanne was counted on as one of the club's leaders both on and off the ice, but would unfortunately miss most of the club's playoff run that saw them fall in game seven overtime of the North-East Conference Championship to Newmarket.
