Lindsay Muskies forward Dylan Fitze (photo credit - Michael DiCarlo/OJHL Images) has confirmed his commitment to join the Laurentian University Voyageurs beginning with the 2013-14 OUA season.

The Peterborough, Ontario native joined the OJHL as a 15-year old with the Muskies in 2008-09 out of the Peterborough Petes Minor Midget 'AAA' program after being drafted by the Saginaw Spirit in the 3rd round, 60th overall, of the 2008 OHL Priority Selection.  The rookie would post a respectable four goals and ten points in 28 regular season games played.  Fitze would be traded to his hometown Peterborough Stars after only one game in 2009-10 and after finishing sixth on the club with 16 goals, got a late-season call-up to join the OHL's Spirit for six games, recording three assists.  He would up his goal output to 17 in 2010-11 to finish fourth on the Stars during the regular season and after his OHL rights moved to his hometown, Fitze played the entire 2011-12 season with the Petes, before returning the the Muskies this past year.  He finished third on Lindsay with 18 goals and fifth in overall scoring with 41 points, while adding six points in the post-season to end his junior career.

Congratulations to Dylan and best of luck as he takes his game to the next level!
