Aurora Tigers forward Matt Andreacchi (photo credit - Brian Watts/OJHL Images) has confirmed his commitment to join the Ryerson University Rams beginning with the 2013-14 OUA season.

The native of Kleinburg, Ontario started his OJHL career by playing a single game for the North York Rangers in 2009-10 as an affiliated player from the Rangers Midget 'AAA' program.  The following year, Andreacchi joined the OJHL Rangers fulltime and the rookie would finish second on the club with 15 goals, as well as fifth in overall scoring with 30 points in 46 games played.  He would make the jump to major junior in 2011-12, joining the QMJHL's Drummondville Voltigeurs, but returned home to join the Trenton Golden Hawks midway through the season, notching 10 points in 23 games played.  Andreacchi was on the move one again this past year as the Hawks moved him to the Aurora Tigers after only three games to start the season.  The skilled winger posted a career-high 16 goals, helping his new club capture the North Division regular season title, before ultimately ending his junior career at the hands of the Lindsay Muskies in the first round of the playoffs.

Congratulations to Matt and best of luck in his collegiate career!
