The native of Thornhill, Ontario played the 2012-13 season as a member of the Don Mills Flyers Midget 'AAA' squad and would play six games, recording four points, with the Buzzers during the regular season.  Joining St. Michael's full-time for their playoff run, Marner was a key member, potting two goal during the clinching game seven of the OJHL Championship Series to down Newmarket and capture the club's first title since 2006.  Following the season, Marner would be selected in the first round, 19th overall, by the London Knights in the OHL Priority Selection.

Congratulations to Mitch on the signing and best of luck in his OHL career!
