Former Georgetown Raider Nicholas Dozzi (pictured left - photo credit - Shawn Muir/OJHL Images) and former Toronto Jr. Canadien Matthew Nosella (pictured right - photo credit - Brian Watts/OJHL Images) have officially signed with the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles and have joined them for the 2013-14 QMJHL season.
The pair of OJHL graduates join former Mississauga Chager rearguard Matt Donnelly, who also joined the Maritimes-based club for this season.
Nicholas Dozzi played one full season in the OJHL last season with the Raiders, after previously affiliating with the Burlington Cougars for two games in 2011-12. The native of Stoney Creek, Ontario notched 16 points in 40 regular season games for Georgetown.
Matthew Nosella also played one season in the league, after apprenticing in the Jr. Canadiens minor hockey program leading up to joining the Junior 'A' squad last year. The rearguard posted one goal and five points in 34 games played before adding another three points in four post-season contests.
Congratulations to both on making the jump to the QMJHL and best of luck in their careers!
