The newest member of the Wellington Dukes, forward Trevor Cope (photo credit - Brian Watts/OJHL Images), is a recruit of the Michigan Technological University Huskies program and is committed to join the school for the 2014-15 WCHA season.

The native of Commerce Township, Michigan joins the Dukes after spending last season with the Langley Rivermen of the BCHL, where he notched 12 goals and 23 points in 53 regular season games played.  Cope was a product of the well-respected Honeybaked and Victory Honda programs in Michigan, while also spending a three game stint with the Corpus Christi IceRays of the NAHL in 2011-12.  After missing the early part of the season due to injury, Cope made a successful debut with the Dukes this past weekend, recording three points in his first two games, including a shootout goal during a 5-4 victory over Whitby.

Best of luck to Trevor as he completes his junior career in the OJHL this season!
