Buffalo Jr. Sabres rookie defenceman Mason Evans (photo credit - Shawn Muir/OJHL Images) has confirmed his commitment to join the Connecticut College Camels beginning with the 2014-15 NESCAC season.

After spending his bantam season with the famed prep school Shattuck-St. Mary's, the native of Buffalo, New York would play at Nichols School before joining the Jr. Sabres full-time this season.  Evans would make his first appearance in the OJHL as an affiliate last year, playing two regular season games and three post-season contests.  Thus far this season, the rearguard has notched six points in nine games played, including four of his six points coming with the man advantage.
