NewsPASL's Sockers Win US Team Sports Record 41st Straight Game
The Professional Arena Soccer League's San Diego Sockers broke the US Professional Team Sports record with their 41st consecutive victory. The Sockers defeated the Mexico Toros 14-4 before a season-high 4,124 at the Valley View Casino Center in San Diego. The margin of victory left no doubts about the Sockers prowess.
Chiles, who had six goals last game, became only the second PASL player to score eight goals in a game. In just four games this year he has 19 goals, putting him on pace to easily break his league record of 46 goals set last season.
San Diego improved to 4-0 on the 2012/13 season, while Mexico fell to 1-3.
