Sr Mites - need to come back again on Thursday Oct 4th please, frankly we just did not get enough eye time on them to be comfortable making a decision.

Welcome to the 2012/13 Season

Welcome Squirts!

  Your Head coaches this year will be Bob Chesnutt (CDYHL) & Mike Johnson (DNHL).  The CDYHL team will compete at the highest level (called B), and there will be approximately 9 other teams in the division.  Here is just a few bits of information to get ready for practices.

  Your managers this year are Christy Murphy & Shannon Fausel, contact info below.

1. Please be on the ice on time.  

2. Bring your own water bottle, no one gets off for water fountain.  (We will give each player a Summit Hockey water bottle this year!) at first practice - get your name on it!

3. Players are being evaluated at every practice, the official evaluation nights will be Thurs. Sept 27th.  

4. We will evaluate Sr Mites also on Sept 27th.

5. There will be some off ice training/classroom sessions.

6. We will utilize the double roster process to a less extent this season.  

7. We will utilize ADM and Small Area games teaching concepts.

FIRST PRACTICE is Sept 10th 4pm !

Required Parent Meeting is Sept 27th, 6:45-7:30pm right after practice in the meeting room upstairs.

ADM Rules

Season Length (Start/Stop Dates)

1. Association may run skills & drills/small area games/cross-ice games beginning September 7^th, 2010 for all Squirts, select teams week of Oct 4th.
2. League game season may run from October 15, 2010 to March 6th, 2011.
3. An average of 3 to 4 ice sessions per week over 6 month season.
4. Maximum of 45 games per team which includes league, non league & tournament games. Excludes possible playoffs & games with girls’ teams
5.  Squirts may attend a maximum of 1 out of state tournament per season.
