Promotional Calendar Announced

With just under one month until Opening Day, the Nighthawks unveil their 2018 promotional calendar. "This is going to be an exciting and memorable summer in the Upper Valley," proclaimed General Manager Noah Crane. The Nighthawks have planned twenty two promotions, one for every home game of the season. The Nighthawks will play twelve home games in June, nine in July, and one in August. 

The Nighthawks begin the season with three straight road games before their home opener on Saturday June 9th. Opening Night will be Magnet Schedule Giveaway sponsored by Mascoma Savings Bank where all attending will receive a 2018 magnet schedule. The next night, Sunday June 10th will be Princess & Pirate Night. Kids and adults are encouraged to channel their inner Cinderella or Blackbeard and join us for a night of fun. There will be Disney princesses on hand for pictures and a treasure hunt.

On Wednesday June 13th the Maxfield Sports Complex will belong to the dogs as the Nighthawks host Bark in the Park to support the Lucy Mackenzie Humane Society. There will be a dog show, dog parade, dog treats, and of course hot dogs to eat. 

Thursday June 14th is Strikeout Breast Cancer and Nurse's Appreciation Night. The Nighthawks will wear pink jerseys and be raising money to support breast cancer research. All nurses are given free admission to this game. Sunday June 17th is Father's Day with the Nighthawks as we will be playing dad rock all night long, telling dad jokes, and celebrating Upper Valley fathers.

Wednesday June 20th is Halloween Night with a costume contest, trick or treating for kids, and some special and spooky guests.  Thursday June 21st is Educators Appreciation Night sponsored by River Valley Community College. All educators will receive free admission as the Nighthawks thank you for your service to our kids and our community.

Saturday June 23rd will be Team Photo Giveaway Night where fans will receive a free poster sized team photo. Sunday June 24th is Halfway to Christmas Night with a visit from Santa Claus. Join us for carols, gifts, egg nog, and pictures with Santa.

Wednesday June 27th is Seat Cushion Giveaway Night where the first one hundred and fifty fans will receive a Nighthawks seat cushion. Thursday June 28th is Fireworks Night. Immediately following the conclusion of the game fans will be treated to a fireworks show without having to leave their seats. The June home schedule concludes with First Responder Appreciation Night. The Nighthawks have invited all Upper Valley first responders to attend for free and there will be police, fire, and emt, vehicles for fans to see.

July begins with Beach Night on Thursday the 6th where Maxfield will transform into a beach party. Expect everything except the ocean itself and those attending in a Hawaiian shirt will get free admission. Friday July 7th is Support the Haven Night where fans are encouraged to bring non perishable food items to support the Upper Valley Haven.

Sunday July 8th the Nighthawks are going back in time to the 1980s. 80s Night will feature a post game concert from the Tricksters, a Guinness World Record attempt for the most popped collars, and all the greatness that was the 1980s. Saturday July 14th will be Toy Tractor Giveaway Night sponsored by Townline Equipment. The first 100 kids will receive a toy Kubota tractor and there will be real tractors on hand too.

Sunday July 15th will be Family Fun Night sponsored by Roadvision with face painting, scavenger hunts, and games. Wednesday July 18th will be Superhero Night to benefit Children's Hospital at Dartmouth. Come dressed as your favorite superhero and help us raise money for CHAD.

Saturday July 21st is Salute to the Sun Night sponsored by SunCommon. There will be a solar powered bouncy house for the kids and all fans will receive a free pair of sunglasses. Saturday July 28th is Diamond Dig Night sponsored by Von Bargen's Jewelry where fans will have the chance to dig for, and keep, a real diamond. Tuesday July 31st is Grandparents Day where all fans 60 years and over receive free admission. The Nighthawks will also be wearing purple jerseys and be raising money for Alzheimers research.

The regular season concludes on Wednesday August 1st with Fan Appreciation Night sponsored by TomTom.
