Komoka Kings making some noise!  Saturday, October 5 the previously undefeated London Nationals paid a return visit to face the Kings at the Komoka Wellness Centre.  Well, no more undefeated team in the GOJHL Western Division as the Kings took down the Nationals 4-3 in OT.  An exciting and hard fought game with a quick goal by the Kings only to see the Nationals storm back.  However the combination of experienced and new talent of the Kings persevered.

Sophomore Kurt Watson scored 0:44 in the game with assist by newcomers Luc Arsenault and Chase Strychaluk.  D'Arcy Panziera another returnee scored in the second after Nationals took a 3-1 lead assisted by Blake-McConnell-Barker and Joel Mazzilla.  Rookie Jacob Howard scored in the 3rd to tie the game with assists by London Knights priority draft pick Chase Strychaluk, and Luc Arsenault.  Early in the OT period Kings Joel Mazielli who was last year's GOJHL top goal scorer notched his 5th of the season with assist from rookie Griffin St. Onge - a 4-3 victory for the Kings!

Kings top scorers early in the season is well spread out with returnees and newcomers - Joel Mazzilli and Chase Strychaluk with 5 goals each, Kurt Watson and Jacob Rochford with 4 markers, and Dario Beljo and Blake McConnell-Barker with 3.

The player additions for 2018-2019 and new coaching staff led by veteran Ron Horvat as head Coach are making the Komoka Kings a team to be reckoned with and provides great entertainment for the fans.
