Real McCoys Seeking to Jump Up In The Standings
Friday Night at the Grightmire Arena will see the Dundas Real McCoys square off against the top-ranked Hamilton Steelhawks. The Real McCoys are locked at a 2-2-1 record while the Steelhawks are 4-2 with a game in hand.
Real McCoys’ Forward Dustin Alcock is a Hamilton native but that will not slow him down against his hometown team. Alcock is off to a solid start this season with a goal and an assist in three games. The 30-year old has no penalty minutes and is known for his steady two-way play. In 2018-19, Alcock helped his team with 11 goals and 8 assists in 19 games including one game-winning goal and a season-high hat trick on his first game of the 18-19 season.
For Steelhawks, look out for Bryan Cameron who is red-hot with his play-making skills. Cameron has one goal and six helpers in six games this season. He has two assists versus Dundas this season.
Expect a tight and smart game in Dundas. Neither team wants to give up an early lead or else it could spell danger.
