2016 Bantam Nationals: Day 4 Recap
DAY 4: 2016 BANTAM NATIONALS
The round-robin games of the 2016 Bantam Nationals Tournament have wrapped up and the finals are underway. Here are some highlights from Day 4!
Game 19:Team Nova Scotia vs. Team Manitoba, 9:30am
In the first game of the day, Team Nova Scotia took on Team Manitoba. The score was tied 2-2 at the end of the second period but the game shifted in favour of Team Nova Scotia when Ethan Locke (16) scored a goal in the third period, securing a win for Team Nova Scotia. The teams fought hard and the final score was 3-2 for Team Nova Scotia.

Game 20: Team Alberta vs. Team British Columbia, 10:45am
In another evenly matched game, Team Alberta battled against Team British Columbia to determine their standing in the finals. Only 35 seconds into the game, Jordan Kujala (17) of Team British Columbia, scored the first goal of the game, setting the pace for the rest of the game. Team Alberta bounced back and at the end of the second period, they lead the game with a score of 4 to 2. Fourteen minutes into the third period Nikolas Amlot (3) scored the game winning goal, winning the game for Team Alberta 6-5.

Game 21: Team First Nations vs. Team Ontario Lacrosse Association, 12:00pm
Game 21 of round-robin games saw Team Ontario take on Team First Nations. In a landslide victory, Team Ontario shutout Team First Nations 9 to 0. Scoring two goals and one assist for Team Ontario, Zane Dalpe (12) lead his team to victory and catapulted the team into the finals.
FINAL SCORE: FN 0 vs. ON 9
Game 22: Team British Columbia vs. Team Alberta, 6:45pm
In a repeat battle of Game 22, Team British Columbia once again took on Team Alberta. By the end of the second period, Team Alberta had a strong lead with a 6 to 1 lead - three of the six goals scored by Mattias Flammenspeck (12). Team British Columbia didn't stop fighting and were able to score three goals in the third period. Despite their continued fight, Team British Columbia was not able to catch up to Team Alberta and were defeated 9 to 4.
FINAL SCORE: BC 4 vs. AB 9
Game 23: Team Manitoba vs. Team Nova Scotia, 8:00pm
