2018 BANTAM NATIONALS: DAY 4 RECAP
DAY 4
It was the last day of round robin action and playoff positions are set. Here’s your recap of everything Bantam Nationals.
Game 12: Team Nova Scotia vs. Team First Nations, 9:00am
Team First Nations wanted another win and they walked away with it over Nova Scotia. They lead the game from beginning to end this morning.
FINAL SCORE: NS 3 vs. FN 5
Game 13: Team Saskatchewan vs. Team British Columbia, 10:30am
Team BC was ready to show Saskatchewan how this game is played and came out with a whopping 7-0 lead after the first period. Second period was much more evenly matched with the teams only scoring two and three goals. The third period saw BC kick it up a notch again and walk away with a 14-3 win.
FINAL SCORE: SK 3 vs. BC 14
Game 14: Team Manitoba vs. Team Ontario, 1:30pm
Ontario looked to clench their first-place standing going into playoffs with a win over Manitoba, but Manitoba had other plans. Team Manitoba scored the first goal of the game and Ontario answered back with two of their own. Manitoba tied it up, and Ontario shot three more. Ontario had found their groove and kept it going for the rest of the game.
FINAL SCORE: MB 2 vs. ON 11
Game 15: Team Nova Scotia vs. Team Saskatchewan, 3:00pm
The final round robin game of the tournament saw Nova Scotia and Saskatchewan facing off. Teams kept it close in the first period with Nova Scotia up by only one goal. The rest of the game saw Nova Scotia pull away to take the win over Saskatchewan.
