Bee Jay Opponent Forfeits
Liberal's opponent for Tuesday at the NBC World Series the Waco Winners, forfeited the game. Here is the statement from the NBC.
"The 88th NBC World Series, powered by Evergy, announced the cancellation of the Liberal Bee Jays vs. Waco Winners game scheduled for 12:00pm on Tuesday, August 2nd due to forfeit. The game will not be made up, and the Liberal Bee Jays will be awarded the victory."
Liberal will play the winner of the San Diego Stars and Hayville Aviators Thursday at a time to be announced. This is the eight team single elimination portion of the bracket.
