Saskatchewan JR Pats blows out Team Brick Alberta, 6-2

Saskatchewan JR Pats had a two-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 6-2 win over Team Brick Alberta.

 

Saskatchewan JR Pats was led by Bauer Dumanski, who registered one goal. Dumanski scored on the power play 2:38 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Saskatchewan JR Pats. Saskatchewan JR Pats earned a power play opportunity when Gracyn Sawchyn was put in the box for tripping. Riley Heidt picked up the assist.

Saskatchewan JR Pats additionally got points from Kalan Lind, who also registered one goal and two assists to lead the team in points and Anthony Wilson, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Brayden Yager also scored for Saskatchewan JR Pats. More assists for Saskatchewan JR Pats came via Quinn Mantei, who had one and Pavel Mckenzie, who had three.

Team Brick Alberta was helped by Aiden Oiring, who tallied one goal. Oiring scored on the power play 11:06 into the second period to make the score 4-2 Saskatchewan JR Pats. Team Brick Alberta had gotten the advantage when Saskatchewan JR Pats' Phoenix Ramage was sent off for interference. Tom Willander assisted on the tally. Team Brick Alberta also got a goal from Bryton Morrow as well.

Frank Chaboyer recorded 14 saves for Saskatchewan JR Pats. Saskatchewan JR Pats incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Team Brick Alberta took out Alexander Scheiwiller after he had made 10 saves and installed Cooper Michaluk in goal, where he finished with seven saves and the loss. Team Brick Alberta incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
