CCHL TIER 1 CORPORATE HYPE PLAYER OF THE WEEK Nov 15 2011
The Central Canada Tier 1 Junior A Hockey League is pleased to announce that the Corporate Hype Player of the Week is Ben Blasko of the Brockville Braves. Blasko is a repeat Player of the Week winner who recently won the same honor in week 7. The Braves forward had an outstanding week as he collected 13 points (4G , 9A) in the Braves three victories against Gloucester, Kemptville and Smiths Falls. He was also selected a game star in all 3 contests – first star in two, a second star in the one as Brockville enjoys an 11 game winning streak. He also leads the Braves in scoring and is currently tied for fourth in league scoring with 42 points (10 G, 32 A).
The Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL) features three Central Canada Hockey League (CCHL) teams in the CJHL Top 20 Rankings this week. The Carleton Place Canadians (19-4) remain in the Top 10 at # 10 in Canada. The Nepean Raiders (20-3-1-1) maintain their # 13 ranking while the Brockville Braves (18-4-2) remain an Honorable Mention.
