Three unanswered goals in the third period pushed the Richmond Royals to a 6-4 win over the Brockville Tikis on Wednesday at the Memorial Centre.

The Tikis got off to a quick start with Dylan Stacey opening the scoring on a power play five minutes into the game.

The Royals evened things up before Tom Callaghan closed out the opening frame with a 2-1 Brockville lead.

After 40 minutes, the game was all squared 3-3 with Rocco Barresi scoring his seventh goal, second best on the team behind Stacey with 12.

The Royals actually had their lowest shooting period of the game in the third, but managed to get three goals by netminder Kyle Herbison before Callaghan stopped the bleeding with about three minutes left in regulation to round out the scoring.

Herbison was kept busy all night, making 48 saves compared to Richmond goalie Nick Bond stopping 25 pucks.

The loss is a tough one for the the Tikis, who won their opening four games at the Memorial Centre but have now dropped two straight at the local arena.

The Tikis head to Char-Lan to take on the Rebels on Saturday before heading back home Wednesday to take on the Perth Blue Wings, who have the best winning percentage in the Richardson Division.
