Gotham City Bats

April 12, 2019
2:18 AM EDT

In previous years the BX/MAN division was always favored to the Riders or Bats. With the league expanding into one division in 2019, it has officially become a dogfight. With other teams bolstering a strong and experienced rosters, the matchups will be very exciting to watch in 2019 for the Gotham City Bats. The Gotham City Bats have been in the league since 2016. Their strong resume speaks for itself by appearing in one championship series in 2016, and back to back semi finals in both 2017 and 2018. The bats have a unique blend of talent and team chemistry. The young core should be a force to be reckoned with for the foreseeable future as they are the favorites in winning it all this upcoming spring/summer 2019 season. The 1-2-3 punch of Benjamin Strack, Brett Lisle and Nick Tripp is something to look out for once playoff time comes in a 3 game series come August. In addition, their offense is something to not be taken for granted as the Bats will rely on Michael German, Marco Baratta and Tyler Durr. One of the Bats issues in previous years has been attendance. Their has been a few games in past seasons where the bats only had 8-9 guys. However, seems like the manager Mike Jacob will fix this issue and continue to strive with what could be a promising year for this ball club.
