MABL NYC announced today that NY Giants starting pitcher Adrian Azcona has been named player of the week in the pitching department for the game played Sunday March 31st 2019. This is Azcona's 1st player of the week of 2019 which is a leading boost of confidence within the Giants pitching staff. During that Sunday, Adrian, who has been face of the Giants pitching staff since emerging in the league in 2016 led the triumph with 16 strike outs against a new look young team called "The Bravos". Adrian threw a complete game one hitter while allowing one unearned run and 3 walks throughout the entire game to help his team seal the victory.
MABL NYC has also announced today Gotham City Bats first baseman Tyler Durr to be named player of the week in the hitting department for the game played Sunday March 31st 2019. In the first game, Tyler went 2 for 3 with 3 rbi's as the bats knocked off the beers in their first game of the season by the score of 10-0. In game 2, Durr continued his decent hitting by going 2 for 3 with 2 rbi's in a slugfest game 2 as he leads the league in rbis with 5.
