Early Season Top 4 Power Rankings

Here's a quick look at the current odds/projected standings of the top 4 MABL NYC'S World Series favorites for the first half up to June:

1. Roughriders- (13-3)

This team has plenty of experience in appearing in the big stage. One of the top powerhouse teams in MABL that would fear any pitchers 1-9 on their lineup. The only Riders loss was to the Marlins, I believe the Riders will continue to impact in the offensive department and if their ace Wil Rios continues to dominate expect the Riders to clinch a first round bye.

2. Gotham City Bats (12-4)

Tyler Durr is off to a tremendous start as the bats are second with a 4-2 record. Looking at their schedule in the first half until end of May, it is obvious to say that there are some winnable games for this young ball club to prevail.

3. NY Marlins (10-4)

The fish is currently barring some injuries with their ace Alex Gounaris in the 15 day Disabled list and hopes to come back against the Bravos on easter Sunday and their captain Jose Bracero out 4-6 weeks with an injured knee. This old veteran group has a lot of other role players who can step it up and help this team make some noise. With that, the fish recently acquired veteran and former NY Braves David Fana who can fill in the void at first base while Chris Varona is now a full time DH. The next 6 games for the fish are teams below .500 and who haven't made the playoffs in 2018. If the sea bass can get their top hitters going, they can be dangerous in the upcoming tough June schedules 2nd half games against the bats, beers and dbacks.

4. NY Diamondbacks (7-7)

Even though the diamondbacks are into a rough start, I am still not counting them out and going with my gut as a .500 team before June. With their ace showtime out with an elbow injury, expect their other starters like Estrella and Gomez to step it up. Their offense will start cooking once the warmer weather is in tact.
