The former 2009 Villanova Knights AP (OJHL - now The Admirals Jr. A Hockey Club) went on to be drafted by the Batallion ninth overall the 2009 OHL Priority Selection, with whom he played 5 seasons before his NHL debut in 2014. A mere 5 seasons later, he realizes his dream.
