MLB Opening Day Rosters Feature 16 Ripken League Alumni
Baseball season is here, and 16 Ripken Sr. League alumni are on Opening Day rosters for Major League clubs this year. This includes seasoned MLB veterans such as Hunter Renfroe (Big Train 2011-12) and Chris Taylor (Braves 2009), recent breakout stars like Nathaniel Lowe (River Dogs 2015) and Ty France (Big Train 2013), and rookies like Kevin Kelly (Aces 2017) and Hunter Brown (Big Train 2018) looking to make an impact on the big stage.
Four former CRSCBL Most Outstanding Players will take the field in the majors to start the season: Renfroe (2011), Brandon Lowe (2014), James Outman (2017), and Alec Burleson (2018).
