With another minor hockey season in the books, it's already time to start thinking about next year. We took in a lot of feedback from managers and coaches that have participated in the Bell Capital Cup over the years, and  hopefully some of the changes we will be instituting next year will help make your experience even better. Here is what's new for 2016: 

• Championship games will be played over a 3 day period, in order to stagger the start and finish times of the divisions. This should afford us more buffer time in between games, and will tultimately result in a less strenuous schedule for teams. 
• Last year for the first time, we made participation in the skills competitions optional. Next year, we will do the same, but we will also host all of the skills competitions on the same day, out of the same 2 venues (Bell Sensplex in the West End, and Richcraft Sensplex in the East End). The Skills Day will allow us to use specific volunteers to run the skills event who are well trained, and who will ultimately ensure that the event is executed faster, and more smoothly. Teams will also know well in advance when and where their skills event will take place. 
• Your registration fee this year will include a BCC program for each player. The program we produce is of the highest quality, and unlike anything else we have ever seen at another minor hockey tournament. Please submit your team photo and roster on time to ensure you are represented accordingly in the program. 
• You will be required to send in a deposit ahead of time if you are interested in participating in a friendly game this year before the tournament starts.
