Bell Capital Cup Alumni selected in the 2017 NHL Entry draft
The Bell Capital Cup is proud to congratulate the 18 BCC alumni who were drafted to the National Hockey League(NHL) this past weekend in Chigaco. Notable players selected in the second round include Isaac Ratcliffe and Jason Robertson.
Ratcliffe played for the London Jr. Knights in the 2011 Bell Capital Cup tournament. He would then continue on to play for the Geulph Storm of the Ontario Hockey League(OHL) from 2015-2017 tallying 67 points in 113 games. He has also represented Canada in the U17 & U18 tournaments in 2016 and 2017. Robertson also competed in 2011 at the Bell Capital Cup with Detroit Compuware. He is now a member of the Kingston Frontenacs of the OHL and had a record season in 2016-2017 with 81 points in 68 games.
