The Seacoast Mavericks (23-26) and the North Shore Navigators (22-28) each put runners in scoring position on Sunday, but the Seacoast Mavericks capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 2-1 win at Leary Field.

The Seacoast Mavericks were led by Alex Merritt's hitting. Merritt went 2-3, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the second inning and singled in the sixth inning.

The North Shore Navigators couldn't get anything going as long as Andrew Schultz was pitching. Schultz held the North Shore Navigators hitless over 2 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three.

Shawn Carlson couldn't get it done on the mound for the North Shore Navigators, taking a loss. He lasted just five innings, walked two, struck out eight, and allowed two runs.
