Scott's walk-off single send the Bristol Blues home winners, 5-4
A walk-off single from Zach Scott brought home the winning run for the Bristol Blues (10-8) in a 5-4 victory over the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs at Muzzy Field on Thursday.
Liam Sacfariello racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Bristol Blues. He homered in the fourth inning.
Michael Nocera had an impressive outing against the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs (7-12)'s lineup. Nocera held the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs hitless over 2 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one.
Ryan Lever reached base three times in the game for the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs. He scored one run and had one RBI. He singled in the second innings and tripled in the fourth inning.
Naushon Galbraith (0-2) took the loss for the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
