It took 11 innings, but the Torrington Titans (19-28) managed to put away the Nashua Silver Knights (30-18) 4-3 on Saturday at Holman Stadium.
With the score tied at three in the eleventh inning, Griffin Garabedian came to the plate and singled, scoring Evan Klugerman.
Lizandro Cruz improved to 3-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Torrington Titans. He allowed one run over four innings. Cruz struck out two, walked three and gave up three hits.
Anthony Meduri (0-2) took the loss for the Nashua Silver Knights. He lasted just 2 1/3 innings, walked none, struck out four, and allowed one run.
