Hawks’ top point-getter signs with Pembroke

Cambridge Times

CAMBRIDGE - Adam Dauda has become the Cambridge Winter Hawks’ first casualty of the offseason.

Dauda was a rookie with the Elmira Sugar Kings before being traded to Cambridge last summer and had a breakout sophmore season, scoring 26 goals and adding 35 assists to lead the team with 61 points.

The 19-year-old recently signed with the Pembroke Lumber Kings of the Central Canada Hockey League. The Winter Hawks received financial compensation for the signing.

Pembroke lost in the CCHL semifinals last year to Carleton Place. The Winter Hawks were swept in the first round of the Midwestern Conference by Stratford.
