Day 1 of the Annual Labour Day Weekend Showcase has come and gone, luckily we have two more days ahead of us!

Cornwall Colts 7 Pembroke Lumber Kings 2

Grant Cooper (Clarkson University Commit) paced the Colts with 1 goal and 3 assists, while JD Pogue (2g, 1a), Jeremy McFarlane (1g, 2a), Brennan Markell (3a) each tallied 3 points.  Liam Lascelle made 25 saves in the victory.

Hawkesbury Hawks   6 Kanata Lasers 4

Adriano Leone tallied 1 goal and 3 assists to help pace the Hawks to their first victory of the 2016-17 CCHL season.  Brett Everson & Eric Theander each tallied 2 goals apeice.

Kemptville 73's 4 Cumberland Grads 2

Jake Gaudet, Tyson Kirkby, Adam Alavi, and Alex Row each scored while Nicholas Hodgins made 30 saves as Kemptville knocked off Cumberland 4-2.

Ottawa Jr Senators 4 Carleton Place Canadians 1

Alex Way, Jaren Burke, Nicholas Samson, and Zachary Cross scored 1 goal apeice, Ian Andriano made 21 saves as the Ottawa Jr Senators took down the defending champs from Carleton Place 4-1.

Brockville Braves 5 Gloucester Rangers 1

Sean Allen, Dustin Rinaldo, Chad Varney, Dominic Della Civita, and Cameron Crotty had the goals, Yaniv Perets got his 1st career CCHL victory with 20 saves as the Brockville Braves defeated the Gloucester Rangers 5-1.

Smiths Falls Bears 5 Nepean Raiders 3

Michael McKenney scored 2 goals, Nicolas Coates, Tre Folkes, and Jared Henry also scored as the Smiths Falls Bears picked up two points in their win over the Nepean Raiders.
