The Central Canada Hockey League (CCHL), and Cornwall Colts are pleased to announce that ’99 born F Cameron Hebert has committed to NCAA Robert Morris University for 2019-20.
The 6-0, 170 lb St. Andrews West, ON native was acquired from the Cumberland Grads this past month after scoring 10 goals and totaling 22 points in 54 games as a rookie. He was originally an 8th overall selection by the Brockville Braves in the 2014 CCHL Bantam Protect Draft. During the 2015-16 season, he suited up for the Braves U18 AAA program and was team captain.
A strong skater with a good shot, Hebert plays in all situations as he has a quality two-way game and understands his role in all three zones of the ice. He will be looked upon to continue to take strides in his development and become a young leader for the Colts forward core over the next couple seasons before heading off to RMU.
Cornwall begins their 2017-18 season on Labour Day Weekend at the Bell Sensplex.
