Char-Lan Rebels  Head Coach and General Manager Jeff Carter announced the addition of Rod MacKenzie and Luc Sabourin to his staff for the upcoming CCHL2 season.

MacKenzie comes back to a Rebels organization that he once starred for as a player. He was part of the only Rebels team to be crowned champion of the former Eastern Ontario Junior B League. His hockey resume also includes time with the Cornwall Royals of the OHL and St-Francis Xavier University of the CIAU. Most recently he was behind the bench for the Char-Lan Bantam rep team this past season.

Sabourin also brings a championship mentality to the table. He was part of a Memorial Cup winning Guelph Platers team in 1986 coached by longtime NHL bench boss Jacques Martin. His OHL career also finished up with a season with the Cornwall Royals.

Both bring a winning attitude to the table and together with Carter will be aiming to get this season's edition of the Rebels on the winning track as training camp begins later this month.
