A superb effort by Devyn Stover spurred the asdf (1-0) to a 1-0 win over the qwe (0-1) on Monday.
Amari Thomason had an impressive outing against the asdf's lineup. The asdf managed just one hit off of Thomason, who allowed one earned run, walked none and struck out none during his 9 1/3 innings of work.
Stover had a hot bat for the asdf. Stover went 1-3, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the second inning.
Stover got the win for the asdf. He pitched nine shutout innings. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered no hits.
Thomason was charged with the loss.
