The Cobourg Cougars are extremely pleased to announce that we have signed forward Justin Pringle ('00) from our partner organization, the Kingston Frontenacs of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL).

Pringle joins the Cougars for his second stint with the program, bringing with him 3 seasons of major junior experience with our OHL-Partner the Kingston Frontenacs. In 142 games with the Fronts, Justin recorded 20 points (9 G, 11 A), adding another tally in 21 playoff contests.

"We're thrilled to sign a player of Justin's caliber," said Head Coach David Demarinis. "He'll make a positive impact right away with our club. With over 3 years of Major Junior (OHL) experience, our younger players will learn from Justin every day, his leadership qualities, work ethic, and the way he conducts himself will set the standard for our program. Justin is going to play a massive role for us this season and we look forward to seeing him back in a Cougars jersey."

Cougars fans will remember Pringle, as he suited up in 13 games for the Cougars during the 2018-2019 season.

"We're very excited to have Justin join our team, we're looking for him to be a leader and to bring the young guys along while also being a standout in the community," said Bob Breckles the Director of Hockey Operations for the Cougars. "We'd like to thank the Kingston Frontenacs and Darren Keily for making this come to fruition. Adding Justin is a prime example of how our partnership with the Frontenacs will benefit both organizations."
