8:00 PM EDT

COBOURG - For the 2013/14 OJHL season, the Cobourg Cougars will have a new voice colour commentating our games as current voice, Bob Benham, embarks on his journey to Fort McMurray, AB to start the next chapter in his life. We'd like to thank Bob for all of his hard work and efforts with the Cougars organization.

At this time, the Cougars are excited to announce a new partnership with the local Small Town Radio, CFWN 89.7FM. There is an agreement in place for their sports director, Brian Coggins, to voice and broadcast all of our home games during the 2013/14 season. There is an initiative in place as well, to broadcast our away games in time for the OJHL playoffs.

Small Town Radio is a not-for-profit corporation operating a community based, volunteer run radio station providing local news, views, event coverage and music to the residents of Cobourg, Port Hope and Hamilton Township (West Northumberland County). Its call letters are CFWN and as of June 2013 it started broadcasting over 89.7FM.  It also provides web-based access to programming.
