2017-18 ACHA Men's D3 Rankings #6
The sixth set of rankings for ACHA Men's Division 3 were released on December 20th, and with very few games played during the previous weekend, very little movement was expected.
However, Fredonia State again swapped places with Suffolk County Community College. The two traded places in the last rankings, with FSU leaping ahead to the #11 spot. But SCCC has regained #11 this time, with Fredonia reverting back to #12.
Pitt-Johnstown also fell one spot to #8, as Fordham slipped by the IceCats to take the 7th position.
Cal U of PA held steady at #6, a spot they have now kept for three-straight weeks.
ACHA Men's Division 3 has implemented computerized rankings for the 2017-18, with a new rankings released after each weekend of games. The final rankings period will comprise all games played through February 11, 2018, which then sets the field for the ACHA postseason. The Top 2 seeds in the Atlantic earn a trip to the ACHA Men's Division 3 National Tournament in March, held again in Columbus, OH. The next 8 teams advance to the Atlantic Regional Tournament on February 23-24, where two more teams will earn their way to Nationals.
