The ACHA Women's Division 2 posted its third set of rankings for the season on January 28th, and the CHE continues to pace the way in the Eastern Region.

As was the case in the first two rankings of the season, the CHE owned the Top 3 spots.  Those Top 3 spots go unchanged over the previous rankings, with the University of Delaware in the #1 position, Liberty University in the #2 spot, and the University at Buffalo slotted in at #3.  Delaware and Buffalo have been inside the Top 3 all season.

The University of Pittsburgh continues its impressive ascent in Women's Division 2 this season, coming in at #7 in these rankings.  The Panthers will seek their first-ever bid to the National Tournament over the final weeks of the season, which will require the team to climb another spot to get inside the Top 6.

The United States Naval Academy was previously in the #4 spot in the rankings, but that team does not appear in this set of rankings.  The team has declined the opportunity to participate in the National Tournament at the end of the season, and as such, is no longer shown in the rankings.

The ACHA Women's Division 2 rankings are compiled via a combination of computer rankings and a rankings committee.  The final set of rankings will include games played through February 25th, with the subsequent rankings determining the teams receiving bids to the National Tournament.  Each of the three leagues in the East Region will get a bid for one of its teams, with the remaining spots filled by the top-ranked teams in the region.  The ACHA Women's Division 2 National Tournament on March 14-18 in Columbus, OH.
