Cook Joins Concordia
Congratulations to Kingston KIMCO Voyageurs overage Centre Casey Cook on his commitment to attend the University of Concordia in his hometown of Montreal beginning this fall. “I’m very excited about the opportunity and can’t wait to get started. They have a terrific program and it will be great to play in my hometown,” said Cook.
Cook joined the Vees from St. Andrew’s Prep School out of Toronto, where he captained the varsity hockey program and also led a standout career as a wide receiver in football, leading the league in nearly every offensive category. Cook had a strong season with the Vees, which really took shape during the Vees strong playoff push, where he took on a major leadership and defensive role on the club and helped lead the Vees to the East Division Finals. Together with linemates Brian Nanne and Brandon O’Quinn, the trio formed an effective unit and was one of the Vees most complete and successful lines in the playoffs.
The entire Kingston KIMCO Voyageurs organization would like to congratulate Casey on his accomplishment and wish him the best as he heads to Concordia in the fall.
