Blue Jays/Delta Tigers Program Coach, Dave Empey, "has developed five major leaguers, including pitchers Ryan Dempster, who fired bullets for 16 MLB seasons, was an all-star twice and won a World Series ring with the Red Sox, Mariners ace James Paxton, now out with arm surgery, and Cubs rookie of the year Rowan Wick. All told, he’s coached 21 pro players (11 pitchers and 10 hitters), plus over 100 college athletes.
