Twins beat 316 Elite 6-3
In a seven inning game added to the schedule to replace El Dorado games, the Twins beat 316 Elite 6-3. Most of the 316 Elite team were Derby HS players. Derby scored one run in the first. Elite answered with one in the second. Derby then added two more runs int he second and Elite answered in the third for a 3-3 tie. Derrick Winn broke the tie with a three run HR in the fourth for a 6-3 lead. Both teams threatened, but neither team scored after the fourth.
Derrick Winn led the Twins with two hits and four RBI. Ryan Rissas went 2.2 innings and allowed three runs (one earned). Tyler Farmer followed allowing one hit in 1.1 innings. Brody Logsdon went two innings with six Ks. Cy Murphy pitched the seventh with three Ks.
