Haysville's two five run innings too much for Derby in 12-9 loss
Haysville scored first with one in the third. Derby answered with four in the fourth for a 4-1 lead. Haysville stormed back with five in the fifth to take a 5-4 lead. Derby added three in the sixth, but Haysville added one to knot the score at 7 after six innings. Haysville scored five in the seventh and Derby could only manage two in the eighth in the 12-9 loss.
Chuck Ingram let the Twins with three hits. Peyton Niemann had two RBIs.
Joe wolf went the first 4.1 innings allowing five runs with 7 Ks. Karson Shephard wert 1.2 innings allowing four runs (three earned). Cy Murphy went one inning and allowed three unearned runs. Tyler Farmer pitched the eighth with two Ks.
