Twins take series opener from Rebels 6-3
Derby scored one run in the third, fourth, and sixth innings to lead 3-0. Newton scored one in the sixth to trail 3-1. Derby added two in the seventh. Newton rallied with on to trail 5-2. Both teams scored a run in the ninth for the final 6-3 score.
Kade Snodgrass led the Twins with three hits and two RBI. Cade Baker also had three hits.
Austin Balmes went seven innings allowing six hits and two runs with seven Ks. Caleb Smith went one inning with one K. Coleson Syring went one inning allowing one hit and one run with two Ks.
