Derby scored four runs in the first.  Newton rallied with one in the first and five in the second to lead 6-4.  Derby retook the lead with three in the third and seven in the fourth to lead 14-6.  Both teams scored two runs in the fifth.  Derby scored three in the sixth.  Newton added one to trail 19-9.  Derby added four in the seventh.  Newton added three in the seventh for the final 23-12 score.  

Makani Nabarro and Aidan O'Malley led the Twins with three hits.  Richard Gutierrez led the Twins with five RBI.  Nolan Ganter and Darluin Ferreira added four RBI.  Tanner Nelson went one inning allowing one run.  Kai Fitak went four innings allowing seven runs (six earned) with six Ks.  Kenny Fistler went one inning allowing one run.  Lance Elsen got one out allowing three runs.  Aidan Duggan got the final two outs.
