Hutchinson scored two in the third, three in the fourth, and one in the sixth before Derby scored one in the seventh to trail 6-1. Hutchinson added two in the eighth and one in the ninth to lead 9-1. Derby scored one in the ninth for the final 9-2 score.
Matthew Buffington led the Twins with three hits. Holden Pantier and Caden Richards have two hits. Lukas Ward went 3.1 innings allowing five runs (four earned) with three Ks. Aidan Duggan went 4.2 innings allowing three runs (two earned) with six Ks. Bryce Hampton pitched the ninth and allowed one run with one K.
