The Lakefield Chiefs enter this year’s Orr Division Championship Series as the defending champions after beating the Clarington Eagles in four games to win the 2017 Cougar Cup. This year Lakefield finished the regular season in first place and will face the second place Port Perry MoJacks for the 2018 Cougar Cup. The MoJacks finished in second place last year and took a bye in the first round before losing to the number three seed Clarington Eagles. Port Perry decided to change their luck this year and passed on the bye in the first round and it has worked so far as they have moved past Georgina and Uxbridge to reach the Finals and look to keep the Chiefs from repeating.

The winner of the Orr Division Championship will advance to the PJHL East Conference Championship against the champion of the Tod Division. Let’s take a look at how these two teams matched up this year.
